Description

A delicious wrap filled with steak, veggies, and cheese, perfect for a quick meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (divided, plus extra as needed)
  • 1 lb shaved steak (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 yellow onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 8 whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 package sliced muenster cheese (at least 8 slices)
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1 large spoonful sour cream
  • 1/4 lemon (squeezed)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shaved steak and brown it for about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add soy sauce, sliced onions, and bell peppers. Cook everything together until the veggies soften, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool.
  4. Spread mayo and sour cream evenly over each tortilla.
  5. Place steak and veggie mixture on one side of each tortilla, top with slices of muenster cheese, and roll tightly.
  6. Heat more olive oil in the skillet, place each wrap seam side down, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  7. Slice the wraps in half and serve hot.

Notes

  • Feel free to add your favorite vegetables for extra flavor.
  • These wraps can be served with salsa or guacamole for dipping.
