Description
A rich and creamy linguine dish with crab, garlic, and Cajun seasoning, perfect for a cozy dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb. linguine
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic (peeled and minced)
- 1/2 cup yellow onion (diced small)
- 1/2 cup poblano or green bell peppers (diced)
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz can)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 pounds picked crab leg meat
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package directions till it’s al dente. Drain and set aside so it doesn’t get soggy later.
- Heat up the olive oil and butter in a big skillet over medium heat till butter melts.
- Toss in minced garlic, diced onion, and peppers. Sauté till onions turn translucent.
- Sprinkle in Cajun seasoning, pour diced tomatoes in, and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Turn heat down low, add the heavy cream, and stir. Let it simmer just a bit to get all creamy.
- Add your drained pasta into the skillet. Toss it well to coat with sauce. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir in the crab leg meat last. Heat through for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust Cajun seasoning for your preferred spice level.
