Description

A rich and creamy linguine dish with crab, garlic, and Cajun seasoning, perfect for a cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb. linguine
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (peeled and minced)
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion (diced small)
  • 1/2 cup poblano or green bell peppers (diced)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz can)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 pounds picked crab leg meat
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package directions till it’s al dente. Drain and set aside so it doesn’t get soggy later.
  2. Heat up the olive oil and butter in a big skillet over medium heat till butter melts.
  3. Toss in minced garlic, diced onion, and peppers. Sauté till onions turn translucent.
  4. Sprinkle in Cajun seasoning, pour diced tomatoes in, and cook for about 5 minutes.
  5. Turn heat down low, add the heavy cream, and stir. Let it simmer just a bit to get all creamy.
  6. Add your drained pasta into the skillet. Toss it well to coat with sauce. Salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Stir in the crab leg meat last. Heat through for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve hot.
