Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
- 1 small head cabbage (shredded)
- 2 pieces bell peppers (sliced, any color)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat the sesame oil: In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, bring two tablespoons of sesame oil to temperature.
- Add the sliced beef: Place the thinly sliced beef into the pan, stirring frequently until it’s browned, about 3-5 minutes.
- Incorporate the garlic: Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the vegetables: Toss in the bell peppers and shredded cabbage, stirring frequently. Cook for about 4-6 minutes, ensuring the vegetables soften yet remain crisp.
- Pour in the soy sauce: Drizzle the soy sauce over the stir fry, seasoning with salt and pepper as desired.
- Finish cooking: Let everything cook together for an additional 1-2 minutes, ensuring the sauce coats the beef and vegetables well.
- Remove from heat and garnish: Turn off the heat, and garnish with fresh green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot: Enjoy the Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry as is or serve over rice.
