- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small head green cabbage, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the browned beef, cabbage, onion, garlic, rice, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the slow cooker.
- Stir to combine well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
- Check seasoning before serving and adjust if necessary.
