Delicious lemon brownies with a sweet glaze.

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Mix the butter and sugar until fully combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just incorporated.
- Mix in the lemon juice and lemon zest.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
- Spread the glaze on top of the cooled brownies and let set.
Notes
- Store brownies in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For a more intense lemon flavor, add extra lemon zest.
