Description

A delicious and crunchy snack made with Cheerios, butter, and cinnamon.


Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (one stick or 8 Tablespoons)
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla
  • 6 cups Cheerios
  • 1/3 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Add the sugar, cinnamon and salt to a small bowl. Stir to mix and set aside.
  2. Add the butter to a large skillet and heat over medium until melted.
  3. Add the vanilla and stir.
  4. Add the Cheerios and toss to fully coat.
  5. Increase the heat to medium-high and continue to stir and toast the Cheerios for 4-5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the Cheerios and stir to fully coat them in the mixture.
  7. Let cool and serve!
