Description

A delicious and hearty ground beef and rice dish perfect for a family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and garlic; sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes and bell peppers.
  4. Add paprika, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  5. In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and add brown rice.
  6. Cover and simmer rice for about 45 minutes or until cooked.
  7. Serve beef mixture over rice.
