Description

A creamy and delicious banana espresso latte that can be enjoyed hot or iced.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 super ripe banana
  • 1 1/4 cups milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp cashew or almond butter
  • 1 scoop collagen (optional)
  • 1/41/2 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 2 espresso shots
  • banana milk, as needed
  • 1 tbsp sweetener of choice (maple syrup, honey, monk fruit)
  • Crushed Simple Mills sweet thin for topping

Instructions

  1. Add the banana milk ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. For hot lattes: Add 2 shots of espresso into a tall, heat proof mug or glass. Gently warm the banana milk on the stove over low heat (do not boil), then pour it over the coffee. Taste and adjust to desired sweetness. To make it extra frothy, finish with a milk frother after combining. Stir & enjoy!
  3. For iced lattes: Add your banana milk to a glass, filling about 3/4 of the way full. Add 2 espresso shots, sweetener of choice, and ice. You can even top with some cold foam if you’d like! Stir & enjoy!

Notes
