- 2 ciabatta rolls or focaccia bread
- 8 ounces burrata cheese
- 1 large ripe tomato, sliced
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice ciabatta rolls in half and place cut-side up on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil over the cut sides and bake for 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Layer sliced tomatoes on the bottom halves, followed by basil leaves.
- Tear burrata into pieces and add on top.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the top halves over the filling, press gently, cut in half, and serve warm.
