Description

Delicious mini taco shells filled with cream cheese and apple cheesecake filling.


Ingredients

  • 12 pieces mini taco shells
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 apples, diced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple filling by cooking diced apples with brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour in a saucepan over medium heat until tender.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with granulated sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Whip heavy cream separately until stiff peaks form and fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Assemble by spooning cheesecake filling into mini taco shells and topping with cooled apple mixture.
  5. Garnish with caramel sauce and whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture.
