A delicious recipe for crispy chicken thighs coated in a flavorful orange garlic sauce.

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat chicken pieces dry and season lightly with salt and black pepper. Toss the chicken in cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add coated chicken pieces in a single layer and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden and crispy. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in orange juice, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, orange zest, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the crispy chicken to the skillet and toss to coat with the orange garlic sauce. Cook for 2 more minutes until heated through.
- Serve immediately, garnished with sliced green onions.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce and garlic for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes according to your heat preference.
